A Clean Filter = More Efficient Cooling

Filters Can Be a Quick DIY Job
Most homeowners have easy access to their HVAC filter. Your home’s builder set up the system with easy access for filters in mind. Step one is locating and removing the old filter. Step two is gathering the model, size, and MERV rating to get the correct replacement filter. (Oh, and if you’re ordering a new filter, be sure to put the old filter back in place while you wait for your new one…running with no filter is never a good idea.)

Next up, you’ll want to search for your filter. There are a lot of ways you can shop, but using the “nominal (labeled) size” dropdown is probably the easiest. Simply pick the size of filter using your old filter as a reference. If you don’t have he old filter or if you are unsure of the size, you can also shop by the model of your air handler or the actual size of the filter (when measured with a ruler or measuring tape). If all else fails, give us a call and we’ll happily help you identify the right filter for your system.
Once you’ve found the right filter, you’ll have a choice to buy it as a single filter, or you can opt to save even more by cording a pack of two or more (quantities will vary by filter). If you buy a multi-pack, you’ll start seeing big savings!
